TREVOR WOODS CONTEMPORARY ART

Trevor Woods has been painting professionally since 2004. Working in acrylic and ink, his ever-evolving graphic style has won him much acclaim and has resulted in his paintings being commissioned and purchased for private collections in this country and abroad, as well as him being invited to exhibit in galleries across the UK.

Trevor’s approach has always been to break down a scene and highlight key areas that particularly interest him. This has developed throughout his career as he continues to challenge himself with new subject matter and ways to interpret what he sees. Understanding which elements of a scene are important and his colour interpretation are what make his work stand out.

His paintings often depict his local area of North Norfolk, but he also greatly enjoys the complete contrast of painting scenes - be it city or landscape – from places further afield. These discoveries keep Trevor’s work fresh and often surprising.

Trevor's studio is located at Gallery Plus - which he owns with his wife Jo - in Wells-next-the-Sea, on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. There is always lots of work in progress, as well as completed paintings, limited-edition prints, and greetings cards.
